How to determine your skin type

Normal Skin Type

Normal Skin

For younger people, it is more common to have what is considered a normal skin type. Normal skin is neither too dry nor too oily. With a normal skin type, the pores are not as easily visible and the complexion is more vibrant. Less imperfection appears and there are no harsh sensitivities. This is the most common skin type, hence the name.

Combination skin type

Those who have a combination skin type will typically have different skin types in reference to certain areas of their body. For instance, dry skin may be found on the hands, yet the face may be oily. A person with combination skin type may have several symptoms.

  • larger dilated pores
  • more instances of blackheads and blemishes
  • a shinier complexion, depending on the water and oil content
