No matter what your financial situation is, it’s always good to save money, because “a dollar saved is a dollar gained.” Below are the tips to save money on travel based on my experiences and observations. I will also provide a list of my favorite travel websites which might help you save money on your future vacations.
1. Be Flexible
If you could be flexible on travel dates, you could save a lot of money by choosing to travel on the dates that have the lowest rates. However, that is not always the case since most of us heavily depend on our work schedules. If your travel dates can’t be flexible, then you can try to be open to other options such as trying a different airline, hotel, or rental car company. Sometimes (or most of the times) it is not a must to fly a particular airline, stay at a particular hotel on a particular street, or drive a particular car from a particular rental company. It is different between “must-have” and “nice to have.”
